Wyoming residents who purchase their insurance plans through the Marketplace may be able to find lower costs on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming plans, as of the beginning of April, according to a Wyoming Press Advertising Service release.
âEven if you did not qualify for cost savings before or havenât purchased a plan yet, we urge you to take another look,â said Diane Gore, president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming. âUnder these new changes, premiums will decrease by $50 per person on average, with 4 out of 5 enrollees able to find a plan for $10 or less per month after premium tax credits. Whether you already have a plan with us or havenât yet found one, now is definitely the time to look for greater savings.â
Peach Street in downtown Fruita will soon be open again.
The street, which is one of two that had been converted to outdoor seating last fall, was reopened last Friday for vehicle traffic and parking.
Fruita City Manager Mike Bennett said the other outdoor seating location at Mulberry Street will remain in use for outdoor seating and dining for the near future. Bennett said as public health restrictions have loosened with COVID-19 cases falling, the town did not need both locations.
âWith the restrictions loosened, we started just walking around and talking to as many of the businesses as we could reach,â Bennett said. âI think by the time we hit 20 or 21, just in that downtown core, there was a clear consensus.â
